Refund Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains when Kitdeka may refund an Annual Pass or provide another remedy. It supplements the Terms of Service, and nothing in it removes a refund, cancellation, compensation, replacement, or other remedy that mandatory consumer law gives you.

Who you are dealing with

Kitdeka is operated by IA Tech Digital, an individual business (usaha perorangan) based at Jl. Cepit Raya, Jatimulya, Cilodong, Depok, Jawa Barat 16413, Indonesia — a sole trader, not an incorporated company. Where this document says “we” or “Kitdeka”, it means that business.

1. What you are buying

Kitdeka Pro is an Annual Pass: one payment gives you 365 days of paid access. It does not renew automatically.

When the paid period ends:

  • Pro-only creation, editing, API, and other paid actions are paused;
  • existing Kitdeka dynamic QR redirects continue for a 30-calendar-day grace period;
  • after that grace period, those dynamic QR codes stop forwarding to their saved destinations and show an inactive-code page unless Pro is renewed; and
  • the account and Pro workspace are retained for up to 365 days after the pass expiry date so that you can renew, view retained information, export available data, or delete the account before scheduled deletion.

A Kitdeka dynamic QR code is not sold as a lifetime redirect.

If you renew during the 365-day retention period, eligible saved dynamic QR codes can resume using the same printed QR codes. Deleted codes, codes permanently disabled for abuse or legal reasons, and data already deleted cannot be restored.

2. Free tools and evaluating Kitdeka

Kitdeka provides Free tools that you can use before buying Pro.

Unless we expressly advertise a separate trial for a particular paid feature, Pro is not a recurring free trial and no payment method is automatically charged at the end of a trial.

The pricing page describes the material Pro features and limits before purchase.

3. Situations that may qualify for a refund or other remedy

We review refund requests fairly and in light of applicable law. Examples that may qualify include:

Duplicate charge

If you are charged more than once for the same intended Annual Pass purchase, we refund the duplicate charge after verification.

Pro failed to activate

If payment completed but Pro did not activate, and we cannot correct the problem within a reasonable time, you may request a refund or another appropriate remedy.

Material Kitdeka service failure

If a material paid Kitdeka feature is unavailable or materially fails to operate as described for a sustained period because of a problem on our side, and we cannot restore it within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, that remedy may be restoration of service, extension of the paid period, a partial refund, or a full refund.

Material paid feature discontinued during an active pass

If we permanently discontinue a material paid feature during your active Annual Pass and do not provide a reasonably equivalent replacement, you may request an appropriate refund for the affected unused paid period. For a planned permanent discontinuation of Kitdeka’s dynamic redirect service or another material paid feature, we will, where reasonably possible, provide at least 90 days’ advance notice. A shorter notice may be necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, an external provider shutdown, or another emergency outside our reasonable control.

Mandatory rights

If applicable law gives you a right to a refund, cancellation, exchange, compensation, or another remedy, that right applies regardless of a narrower voluntary remedy described in this policy.

4. Situations that normally do not qualify by themselves

Subject to mandatory law, the following normally do not qualify for a voluntary refund by themselves when Pro was delivered and operated as described:

  • changing your mind after purchase;
  • no longer needing Pro;
  • not using the account;
  • forgetting to renew;
  • the Annual Pass expiring after the disclosed 365-day period;
  • dynamic redirects becoming inactive after the disclosed 30-day post-expiry grace period;
  • a third-party destination website being down, changed, blocked, or removed;
  • a QR design choice made by you that reduces scan reliability after a readability warning;
  • loss caused by printing or distributing a QR code without testing it;
  • an API key or QR code being suspended because of verified abuse, phishing, malware, fraud, or unlawful use; or
  • features being unavailable because you exceeded a clearly disclosed quota or plan limit.

This section does not exclude a remedy when the actual cause is a failure of Kitdeka’s own paid service or when mandatory law requires a remedy.

5. Physical printed QR codes

Dynamic QR codes are often printed on packaging, signs, menus, cards, or other physical materials. Because printed materials may remain in circulation longer than an Annual Pass, you should review the expiry date and renewal lifecycle before relying on a Kitdeka dynamic QR for long-lived printing.

The ordinary pause of a dynamic redirect after the paid period and the disclosed 30-day grace period is part of the service lifecycle and is not, by itself, treated as a Kitdeka service failure.

However, if Kitdeka stops a material redirect service during an already-paid active period in a way covered by section 3, this policy and applicable law govern the remedy.

Nothing in this section excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.

6. What information helps us review a request

To locate the transaction and investigate the problem, please provide:

  • the PayPal transaction ID, if available;
  • the email address associated with the Kitdeka account;
  • the approximate date and amount of the charge; and
  • for a service problem, a short description of what you tried to do and what happened.

A screenshot or timestamp may help, but we also check our own records where available. We will not require evidence that is unnecessary or unreasonable for the request.

7. How to request a refund

Email hello@kitdeka.com.

For faster investigation, please contact us within 14 days of the charge or of discovering the relevant service problem where reasonably possible. That 14-day request period is part of Kitdeka’s voluntary support process. It does not shorten any longer period or right that mandatory law gives you.

We aim to respond to a complete request within 5 business days.

Approved monetary refunds are normally returned through PayPal to the original payment method. The time needed for the funds to appear is controlled by PayPal and the relevant bank or payment provider.

8. Immediate access

Pro is normally activated as soon as payment is successfully confirmed because you are asking to use the paid service immediately.

Immediate activation does not waive consumer rights that applicable law says cannot be waived.

9. Chargebacks and payment disputes

You may contact us before starting a chargeback so that we have an opportunity to investigate and correct the issue.

If a payment is formally disputed, we may temporarily restrict affected paid access while the dispute is investigated where reasonably necessary to prevent duplicate reimbursement, fraud, or inconsistent account state.

Nothing in this section prevents you from using a payment-dispute right that applicable law or your payment provider gives you.

10. Changes to this Refund Policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top.

A material change will not retroactively remove mandatory rights or shorten an already-paid 365-day Pro access period.

Where a change materially affects a current paying customer’s redirect lifecycle or available paid remedies, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect where reasonably possible.
