Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 August 2026
These Terms apply when you use kitdeka.com, whether you use the Free service or buy Kitdeka Pro. By creating an account, buying Pro, or using the service, you agree to them. Pro is an Annual Pass: one payment, 365 days, no automatic renewal.
Who you are dealing with
Kitdeka is operated by IA Tech Digital, an individual business (usaha perorangan) based at Jl. Cepit Raya, Jatimulya, Cilodong, Depok, Jawa Barat 16413, Indonesia — a sole trader, not an incorporated company. Where this document says “we” or “Kitdeka”, it means that business.
1. The service and Kitdeka Pro
Kitdeka provides online tools for generating QR codes and related links. The Free tools are designed to run primarily in your browser and do not require a paid subscription.
Kitdeka Pro adds paid features such as a saved workspace, dynamic QR codes, batch generation, API access, and other features shown on the pricing page.
Kitdeka Pro is an Annual Pass: one payment gives you 365 days of paid access. It does not renew automatically. We will not charge you for another year unless you make another purchase.
What happens when an Annual Pass expires
When your 365-day Pro period ends:
- paid creation, editing, API, and other Pro-only actions are paused;
- existing dynamic QR redirects continue to work for a 30-calendar-day grace period after the expiry time;
- during the post-expiry retention period, you may sign in to view your retained workspace, export available data, delete your account or saved data, and buy a new Annual Pass;
- you may disable or delete an existing dynamic QR code for safety. Reactivating a disabled code or changing its destination requires an active Pro pass;
- after the 30-day grace period ends, dynamic QR codes that depend on Kitdeka’s redirect service stop forwarding to their saved destinations and instead show a neutral inactive-code page; and
- if you do not buy another Pro pass, your account and Pro workspace are scheduled for deletion 365 days after the original pass expiry date, subject to the exceptions described in the Privacy Policy.
A dynamic QR code is therefore not a lifetime redirect service.
If you buy another Pro Annual Pass before the 365-day retention period ends, the pending deletion is cancelled and eligible saved dynamic QR codes can resume using the same printed QR codes. Codes that you deleted, codes permanently disabled for abuse or legal reasons, or data already deleted cannot be restored.
If the 365-day retention period has already ended and the relevant data has been deleted, buying Pro again creates a new paid period but does not restore the old workspace or old dynamic QR destinations.
2. Your account
You need a verified email address to use account features. Keep your password, session access, and API keys secure. Actions performed using your credentials may be treated as actions performed by you unless the circumstances show otherwise.
Provide an email address you can receive messages at. We use it for verification, purchase confirmations, material service notices, expiry notices, security messages, and data-deletion notices.
If you are not legally able to enter into a binding contract where you live, a parent, guardian, or other person with legal authority must accept these Terms and make paid purchases on your behalf.
One account is intended for one person or one organisation unless a Kitdeka plan expressly supports additional members.
3. Acceptable use
You must not use Kitdeka to:
- direct a QR code or short link to phishing, malware, fraud, or unlawful content;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- facilitate deceptive or abusive activity;
- send unsolicited bulk messages or spam;
- bypass plan limits, quotas, security controls, or QR readability safeguards;
- resell or white-label Kitdeka as your own service unless we expressly permit it;
- probe, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorised access to the service; or
- use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
We may investigate suspected abuse and may disable a code, API key, or account when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, Kitdeka, or the public.
4. Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the designs, links, text, files, brand assets, and other content you provide to Kitdeka.
You give us a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide the service, including storing saved work, generating QR assets, maintaining destination history, serving dynamic redirects, producing requested exports, preventing abuse, and providing account features.
We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to advertise Kitdeka without your permission.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use the content and destinations you submit.
5. Dynamic QR codes and printed materials
A dynamic QR code points first to a Kitdeka-managed redirect address. Kitdeka then forwards the scan to the destination currently configured for that code.
Because the destination can be changed while Pro is active, anyone who prints or distributes a dynamic QR code should maintain control of the account and keep its destination safe.
Expiry lifecycle
Dynamic redirect service is included during an active Pro Annual Pass and for the 30-day grace period described in section 1. After that grace period, an expired code becomes inactive unless Pro is renewed before deletion.
We recommend that you do not represent a Kitdeka dynamic QR code to your own customers as a permanent or lifetime link.
Before printing or distributing large quantities of physical materials, verify the QR code, destination, expiry date, and your own renewal plan.
Abuse and safety
We may disable a dynamic QR code that is reported or detected as being used for phishing, malware, fraud, unlawful content, or another serious safety risk. When the risk is immediate, we may disable the code before contacting you.
A code disabled for abuse, safety, or legal reasons is not guaranteed to be restored merely because a subscription is active or renewed.
Inactive-code page
When a dynamic QR is inactive because its paid service period and grace period have ended, scanners are shown a neutral page stating that the QR code is inactive. The page does not need to reveal the account owner, the owner’s subscription status, or the previous destination.
6. Expiry and deletion notices
Because Kitdeka Pro does not renew automatically, you are responsible for renewing if you want uninterrupted paid service.
We intend to send reasonable notices to the email address on your account, including reminders before expiry, notice when the pass expires, notice before the redirect grace period ends, and notices before scheduled account and workspace deletion.
The expiry and deletion dates displayed in your account are authoritative even if an email is delayed, filtered, or not delivered. You are responsible for keeping your account email current.
7. The API
API keys are secret credentials. Do not publish or share them except with systems you control.
Each plan may have quotas, rate limits, and other technical limits published in the product or documentation. We may throttle, rotate, suspend, or revoke a key that is exposed, abused, or used in a way that threatens the service.
API access is a Pro feature and is paused when the paid period expires.
8. Availability and product changes
We work to keep Kitdeka available and reliable, but no online service can promise uninterrupted operation.
We may improve, replace, or retire features. If we plan to permanently discontinue the Kitdeka dynamic redirect service or another material paid feature, we will, where reasonably possible, give affected paying users at least 90 days’ advance notice.
The 90-day notice does not apply when an immediate or faster change is reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, an external provider shutdown, or another emergency outside our reasonable control.
If we remove a material paid feature during your active paid period and do not provide a reasonably equivalent replacement, the Refund Policy describes the remedy that may be available.
9. Your responsibilities and QR testing
Kitdeka provides tools, not a guarantee that every design, destination, printer, camera, device, network, or third-party website will work in every situation.
Before printing, publishing, or distributing a QR code, test it on representative devices and verify the destination.
You are responsible for the content and third-party services your QR codes point to, and for the cost and risk of printing or distributing physical materials.
Nothing in this section removes any responsibility Kitdeka has under mandatory law for a failure of Kitdeka’s own paid service.
10. Third-party services
Kitdeka may interact with services operated by other companies, including payment providers, hosting providers, email providers, and websites selected as QR destinations.
Those services are controlled by their own operators and may have their own terms and privacy policies. Kitdeka is not affiliated with Google, Meta, PayPal, WhatsApp, or other third parties merely because a Kitdeka tool can create a link to them or interact with their service.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, transfers, or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections.
For users acting as consumers, remedies available under applicable consumer law continue to apply.
For users acting primarily for business or professional purposes, and only to the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from paid Kitdeka services is limited to the amount paid to Kitdeka during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation does not apply where the law does not permit it, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or another category of liability that applicable law makes non-excludable.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including losses caused solely by a third-party destination, a user’s own QR design choice, or failure to renew after the disclosed expiry and grace-period notices.
12. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the Kitdeka Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy removes a refund, cancellation, compensation, or other remedy that applicable mandatory law requires.
13. Ending the agreement and deleting data
You may request or initiate account deletion using the account controls made available by Kitdeka. We may require email confirmation or another reasonable verification step before destructive deletion is completed.
Deleting an account stops Kitdeka-hosted dynamic redirects associated with that account and removes saved workspace data, subject to records we must or are permitted to retain for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security reasons as described in the Privacy Policy.
If Pro expires and you do not renew, the account and Pro workspace are scheduled for automatic deletion 365 days after the pass expiry date.
We may suspend or close an account that materially violates these Terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason unless doing so would create a security risk or is prohibited by law.
After deletion, Kitdeka may retain a non-identifying tombstone for a dynamic QR identifier so that an old printed code is not accidentally reassigned to another customer. Such a tombstone is not used to reconstruct your deleted destination or workspace.
14. Changes to these Terms
If we change these Terms, we will update the date at the top.
For changes that materially affect a current paying customer — especially changes to paid access, redirect duration, retention, deletion, or refunds — we will provide reasonable advance notice to the registered email address before the change takes effect where reasonably possible.
For an Annual Pass already in progress when a material lifecycle rule changes, we will not shorten the already-paid 365-day access period. A new post-expiry redirect rule will not deactivate an existing printed code without at least the applicable notice and grace period described in these Terms.
Continuing to use Kitdeka after a change takes effect means the updated Terms apply, subject to rights that applicable law does not allow to be changed by contract.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Disputes are subject to the competent courts and dispute-resolution mechanisms available under applicable law. If you are a consumer, nothing in this clause removes mandatory consumer protections or mandatory forums that apply to you.
